The v2 charger design is modular and extensible. Switching between a Standard, Panel, or Aircraft Panel mount requires a replacement front bezel. These are available from the online store and are simple to swap over.
Two-port versions can also be upgraded to four ports. The additional two ports can be either USB Type-A or USB-C.
Existing v2 four-port USB Type-A units can also be upgraded to make them two USB Type-A and two USB-C.
Port upgrades will be available soon as a return-to-base service, which includes a complete check on the core unit. A self-install upgrade kit will also be available, though be aware a firmware update is required for USB-C support. This is performed via the diagnostic port on the rear of the charger. Please check again here soon for the details, or drop us an e-mail at the address at the top of the page. Chargers with serial numbers higher than C52EB800 already run the required firmware version.

So C2V2PM is a two-port panel-mounted charger. For four port units, the -C suffix indicates the unit is two Type-A and two USB-C, for example, C4V2PM-C is a panel-mounted mixed type 4 port charger.
